This is the H5P app that I used to explain the tattoo on my hand. This tattoo represents my purpose and what I am passionate about. It is one of the reasons why I chose to switch my degree from nursing to health education. As a nurse I could only help individuals, but as a health educator I could create prevention and interventions program that would be for communities rather than individuals. I wanted to be able to include culture into prevention and intervention programs and I found it difficult to do that as a nurse, but I am not saying it cannot be done. I just found that was not my strong suit and felt that a degree related to public health aligned with my purpose, passion, and values.
